Last
Visible Pilia
U.S. based Last Visible
Dog label, renowned purveyor of neopsychedelia and outer limits
folk, has just released Stefano Pilia first official work, "Healing
Memories in Present Tension". This disc springs from a collaboration
with Valerio Tricoli (whose
"Did they? Did I?" CD just came out on Bowindo),
and it's the first work by an italian artist to be featured on the rather
vast label's catalog: utterly visceral, and warmly analogic sounding,
the thirty and so minutes on the disc features the flowing of wonderful
aerial guitar drones, enchanting and serene, as if depicting old pictures
portraiting immense clear sky. Don't miss this!

Cities
of the Future
The Microsound
mailing list often bring to the light some theme compilations: this time
it's "Cities of the Future". Using a short track sourced from
Tarkovskij's "Solaris", the participants constructed
their visions in sound. Among them we remember IXEM's
Fabio Selvafiorita and Logoplasm.
All tracks are available for download on the Microsound
web site.
